CEA’s Connecticut Education Foundation Assists READ10: READ10 is twice the recipient of the generosity of the Connecticut Education Foundation, a non-profit, charitable foundation that was established in 1991 by the Connecticut Education Association to help teachers and students experiencing catastrophic hardships. One of our Members was awarded a grant from the Edward J. Boland Financial Assistance Fund to help with extraordinary unforeseen family circumstances resulting in overwhelming medical bills. This February READ10 applied for – and was awarded – a Children’s Fund grant for two siblings whose family is experiencing extreme financial hardship. READ10 is grateful for the help CEA has given to members of our school community. CEA and READ10…stronger together.
